Over Trainstorm

De films die Trainstorm maakt zijn geen documentaires: er wordt geen gesproken commentaar gebruikt. Het zijn sfeerfilms waarin treinen en omgeving uitvoerig aan bod komen, ondersteund door muziek. De films concentreren zich op het alledaagse, juist datgene dat later de sterkste gevoelens van nostalgie opwekt. Zelfs in een jaar tijd kan soms meer verdwijnen dan u denkt. Het alledaagse levert vaak juist de meest spectaculaire beelden op met de meeste afwisseling. Een gewaardeerd kenmerk van onze films is dat we treinen zo veel mogelijk in hun geheel laten zien.

Het in de loop der jaren opgebouwde bestand aan opnames bevat veel unieke beelden.
